Thank you!Įdit: The Degree settings -90/0/90 on the HDMI selector appears to be changing the orientation of the view I see without actually changing the monitor orientation from Landscape to Portrait, or vice-versa, if that makes sense?Įdited by johnsland8, 17 January 2022 - 04:55 PM. Any thoughts or insight on this would be appreciated. If I have it set to 90, shouldn't my screen be rotating 90 from the display settings? Could this be some defect in the machine? Or am I doing something wrong? I'm holding off setting up VPX because I want to make sure I have this sorted so as not to cause additional problems with setup. This got me thinking, that third setting in the HDMI channel screen on the ALP is not doing anything. It doesn't fit the screen correctly and the graphics are distorted. But, when I launch FX3, the game loads in the same orientation - sideways. Which makes sense since the monitor in the cabinet is turned sideways. My problem/confusion is that when I have the display in landscape mode, the screen on my legends table is sideways, so I have to stand off to the side to navigate easier. Researching to avoid having to switch back and forth between portrait and landscape modes for FX3 and VPX, I find someone that says also to set up FX3 in landscape mode and use the same settings I have listed above. Getting ready to set up VPX, the tutorial I watched says to put main display in landscape mode. Plus, having the monitor in portrait mode makes it a lot easier to navigate menus when not in game play. My HDMI settings on the ALP are OTG / Main Display / 90.

Following a tutorial setting it up for the first time, I put my playfield monitor (main monitor) in portrait mode. I'm primarily playing FX3 games through my PC/Steam. Brief background: Just recently got a Legends Pinball table.
